Add a New Listing / Edit a Listing – Instructions

Go to the homepage of the MLS – https://belizerealestatemls.com/ and click on the LOGIN button on the top, right of the page.

Enter your given credentials. If you lose them, please email info@belizerealestatemls.com for new ones

This will take you to your Dashboard. On the left, you can click on My Properties and you will be shown three options: Add Property, Published, or Pending Review.

EDIT – To edit, click on Published, find the property you wish to edit, click on Edit (lower right) and then edit. Be sure to click Update Property (lower right) when completed.

ADD – To add a property, click on Add Property (left). 

1. The most time-consuming part is adding photos so do this first. Scroll down to Property Images and either drag n drop or click Browse Images, then find images on your computer, then select all you wish to add then click Open (lower left). Images will upload as you add the property data. Recommended sizing is 1200 to 2000 width. Smaller and it will pixelate, larger and it will take to long to download.
2. Scroll back to the top and add the title of the listing to the Property Title
3. Under Address, type in your city and country and it will find it in the database. Click on the correct address location. You can then move the pin on the map to an exact location.
4. Scroll down to Property Description. Copy and paste from your website. Do NOT include any of your contact/website information…it will be removed upon review!
5. Scroll down to Sale Price. Enter numbers only…NO COMMAS!
6. Type – Please click on ALL that apply. Do NOT click on Best Deals in Belize…we choose that 🙂 
7. Status – Click on For Sale or Financing Available, if applicable. IMPORTANT – When the property sells, please come back and edit this to Sold.
8. Location – click on one – the most appropriate. I.E, if the property is at Alaia, click that instead of San Pedro, etc.
9. Bedrooms – enter the number of…skip if Land/Business
10. Bathrooms – enter the number of…numbers only! So if 2.5, round up to 3…skip if Land/Business
11. Garage/Parking Spaces – enter the number of…numbers only! Skip if N/A
12. Area – enter property square footage…numbers only! Skip if N/A
13. Lot Size – Most applicable to Land, enter square footage…numbers only! Skip if N/A
14. Year Built – enter year…skip if unknown
15. By now, pictures are probably done uploading. Set the Featured picture by clicking on its Star, otherwise, the first picture will default to Featured. Pictures can be re-ordered by dragging n dropping them or deleted by clicking on the trash can.
16. Features – click on all that apply
17. Message to the Reviewer – IMPORTANT – Add the URL of the property on your website here. Also any note you wish the reviewer to know about.
18. Go back and make sure you didn’t miss anything and then click on Submit Property, lower left.

Once you get the hang of it, each property should take about 5 minutes to enter. We will review new entries daily so it will be available on the website within 24 hours of your entry.
